In 2019 I wrote and successfully had approved a for year integrated masters programme that has been for the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship undergraduate Innovation programs. I successfully argued that the inclusion of students from the Childhood Studies with Innovation MSc would add greatly to the culture and knowledge at the Centre.
My role as principal lead on the process of designing and gaining approval for both the academic and business case for the program, required the careful management and negotiations within the complex structures of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, School of Education and wider University of Bristol policies. I submitted and gained approval in the summer of 2019 for Childhood Studies with Innovation. The first cohort for the Childhood Studies with Innovation MSc program was recruited in September 2020. The students from the Childhood Studies with Innovation program have been a huge addition to the life of the Centre and it’s taught programs.
